The B8 4.0 is the first series of V8-engined E36 B8 from Alpina. The B8 4.0 became Japan-only market special as the majority of the cars produced were shipped to Japan.<\/p>\n

The differences between a B8 4.0 and a regular B8 4.6<\/a><\/u> are:
\n– 4.0 liter engine with 313hp
\n– interior plaque with B8 4.0 model designation
\n– exterior “B8 4.0” emblems
\n– chassisplate with “B8 4.0” designation
\n– own chassisnumber range<\/p>\n

Production<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The B8 4.0 was produced from 1994 to 1995.<\/p>\n

Either 5 or 6 cars were made. All were shipped to Japan except the initial prototype car.<\/p>\n
