\nI bought this Alpina in April 2012 just as its MOT and tax where about to expire. I have done quite a bit of mechanical work to it (see below) and it needs some cosmetic attention to make it perfect. I was intending to do this work but with a new house project and 3 other cars I have realised am not going to have the time to spend on this car that I need and so it has got to go. Since I sold my E38 750il three months or so ago I have been using the B3 as my daily driver on a mix of long and short journeys. Although it needs some tidying up to make it perfect it is useable \u2018as it is\u2019. This is car number 221\/500, Cost new approx \u00a345,000, 124,000 miles approx with some service history, 5 previous owners, last owner before me had the car for 5 years, MOT until June 11th 2013 (MOT\u2019d at local BMW specialist \u2013 Stanfield Garage \u2013 not some dodgy back street place). Full MOT history from VOSA available. Tax until end of December 2012
\nThe good;
\nEngine and gearbox very good, No warning lights on dash, Interior in very good condition other than drivers seat,
\nWork since April 2012 during my ownership includes; Oil Service (genuine BMW filter and oil filter housing O Ring) \u2013 next service not due for 14,000 miles or so, New Front brake pads and sensor (Pagid), New Front Drop Links (Lemforder),
\nNew Front Wishbone Bushes (Lemforder), New Front Anti Roll Bar Bushes (Genuine BMW items), New Rear Trailing Arm Bushes (Genuine BMW items), New New Bosch Windscreen Wipers, I have bought rear brake pads and a sensor but the rear pads don\u2019t need changing yet so I haven\u2019t put them on, happy to let these go with the car.
\nThe not so good;
\nBodywork needs tidying in places, front valance wants a spray (most of them do as they are so low), rear arches have minor rust which needs to be rubbed down and sprayed, some other minor scratches which may polish out, Wheels are \u2018ok\u2019 but a refurb would be best, tyres are budgets all round (I didn\u2019t put these on!) and whilst the fronts have good tread the rears are very low. , Drivers seat bolster is worn in the usual place and will need a repair, Mechanically the accelerator pedal is stiff, and I assume the throttle linkage needs to be cleaned or oiled or greased., The diff \/ subframe bushes are worn and need replacement. The car can be driven like this and indeed passed an MOT like this but the bushes do \u2018knock\u2019 from time to time. This is a job I would deal with if I was keeping the car. This is a common E46 problem. Remote central locking tempremental, sometimes it unlocks everything sometimes it doesn\u2019t! It always locks fine. I haven\u2019t tried the other keys, but assume this could just be a battery issue. That\u2019s it! Thanks for looking. \nMooie Alpina B3.3 op Hongaars kenteken. De auto heeft nog 2 jaar APK en wordt gemakkelijk overgezet op Nederlands kenteken waarbij deze jaren rechtstreeks overgenomen worden. De reden van de verkoop is dat er geen plek meer voor was. Alpina levert altijd maar in beperkte oplage, wat betekent dat dit een redelijk zeldzame auto is. De BMW E46 zie je nog best vaak, maar de Alpina B3.3 is vrijwel uniek in Nederland. En met 280PK en een topsnelheid van 265 km\/u is dit een erg leuke auto om mee te rijden. De auto verkeert in topconditie. Het interieur is netjes en aan de buitenkant is de auto ook nagenoeg gaaf. De lak van de motorkap is recent bijgewerkt en de velgen zijn ook opnieuw gericht en gespoten. Bij serieuze interesse graag even bellen
