\nHere we have a Running\/ Driving easy project of a rare Alpina C2 2.7 number 155. I bought this car in Holland
\naround 2 years ago and drove it back from the Netherlands through the chunnel with no problems and a great ride. I
\nhave all the correct export paperwork and all that it needs to register it in the UK is an MOT, (which I think it would
\npass), Insurance, 6 months tax and the registration fee of \u00a355. Simple as that.
\nThe car itself is in very solid condition and after sittingfor two years, she fired right up with a boost start and runs
\npretty well even though she has 2 year old petrol in her. I drove the car across the street and back and every goes
\nfine, even brakes are not seized etc. but I would recommend that you go through everything to ensure road
\nworthiness. The body itself is very solid with only rust visible on bumpers and the left rear wheel arch. I put thecar
\nup on my neighbours hoist, (hence the drive across the street), and she is very solid showing evidence of regular
\nwax oiling. All sills etc are very good with only the left front jacking point having perished but it has not spread to the
\nfloor so not a difficult or expensive repair. The pain still shines will but there are some areas of peeling onbonnet
\nand some micro blistering on roof. The interior is stunning, commensurate with her low mileage and has all the
\nusual Alpina bits, Alpina gauges, Steering wheel, gear shift knob, identification plaque. She is fully loaded with
\npower windows leather seats, black headlining, lights in rear view mirror etc. As you can see in the pictures this car
\nstill has her original staggered Alpina wheels and C2 badge and body kit. Colour is Dolphin Grey.
\nUnfortunately the previous owner had no history with thecar but he bought it form two brothers who lived on the
\nDutch\/ German border and had imported the car from Germany in 1995 which it shows on the Dutch registration
\ndocs (included and needed for UK import). I don’t haveany other info on this car.
\nIn summary, a great car that could be on the road in afew weeks, runs fine, handles great and looks the business,
\nneeds some remedial paint work but otherwise a super niceappreciating classic. I have started the auction at what
\nit’s worth for me to break the car, Which would be a shame but you know how valuable Alpina components are
\nworth and I am running this auction until the end. You are more than welcome to come and view and hear it run but
\nas it is not road registered\/ insured test drives are only possible if you bring trade plates with you. Please only come
\nand view\/ bid if you are a genuine buyer with funds ready to buy. Car is located in Woking a few minutes off of
