Car was always in CA since 1985 and I’ve known it since 1985…I also did a custom Dual Exhaust on it, It needed New shocks and paint when I sold it, the 16″ Original wheels are missing, car is very rare and all original…No accidents or body damages when I had it…”

mentioned by new owner Cary Cooper (ccooper@sterneagee.com) on fastsaloons.com 11/2008:
“Purchased Oct 2008. 78k miles. Great condition but needs an ALPINA starter instead of the bmw stock one put on by previous owner (the “teeth” aren’t deep enough and stripping the ring).”

mentioned by jamesclay on bimmerworld.com 4/2010:
“BimmerWorld – S54 into an Alpina E30 – the easy way…
New Picture Link (3/24/10) – BimmerWorld E30 Alpina B6 – S54 Conversion
Apparently some people think our S54 swap is “vaporware”, so to show how easy it is, I will show the stages of a typical street car swap. We have done a few other street cars, but this project comes at the right time and is pretty cool. And the E30 presents a few challenges (mechanically) over an E36 so we will knock out two birds with one stone.”

for sale by jamesclay on bimmerworld.com 4/2010:
“E30 Alpina B6 2.8/1 Driveline – Complete
This driveline is complete from a project car. Includes engine, dogleg trans (I think close ratio?), exhaust (not original), radiator, etc and all wiring/electronics.
This driveline was removed from a nice car, running condition, to make room for an S54 swap. 126km on the clock. One of 259 and not too many were likely removed from the Alpina cars they inhabit. 210Hp, 270 Nm, 144MPH top speed in the E30 it came out of.
Accepting offers to james@bimmerworld.com.”

received message from Jeremy Plance <djjeremy@hotmail.com> 11/2016:
“I recently purchased (and just uncrated and verified it all last night) the complete motor and most of the related special Alpina bit from Alpina B6 2.8/1 #0035. This was acquired from the shop that performed the S54 swap on the car back in 2010. I’ll be reinstalling of these parts, along with a mess of other original/rare parts (including a original, early style rear spoiler) on a new chassis. As much as I wish I could save the rest of #0035, from recent photos I have seen, it is too far gone and should not be considered an complete Alpina anymore unfortunately”
“The shell it’s going in to is an 1984 that was already built up as a C2 clone, so most of the Alpina bits are already there”
“The Alpina VIN I have for the original car is WAPB628014B620035. This is the shell that had the 24v installed and was last seen on a dealers lot as a caged and stripped race car.
The new shell VIN is WBAAB5406E1009175 (formally an early 325e chassis.) Once I get the driveline and everything installed this winter, I’ll send new photos”

1984 “the car is a 1984/85 E-30 B6 2.8 car # 0035 i am the 4th owner, the orginal was a german doctor who imported the car.
