\n“Yes you are correct I am the new owner of #89 the Alpine white B6 2.8 that was listed on eBAY 2 years ago. Luckily for me the two winning bidders couldnt come up with the funds to purchase the car after bidding and I emailed to go look at it. at that time it had roughly 43000 miles I believe. I then purchased it after it passed smog it just turned 46000 miles the other day. The car has all the Alpina options I know of excluding leather interior the plaques and vins confirm it is #89. Basically the car is as original nothing has changed or redone as it hasnt needed to be, just maintenance. As far as i can tell from previous owners I am the fourth owner. The original owner (a welathy real estate brokers young son) supposedly imported the car new or almost new to
\nthe east coast drove it there for a while then packed his belongings into the car and drove it across the U.S to California where he then sold it. It then
\nfell into the hands of a businessman ( Robert Robinson President of Logo Caps Inc.)
\nturn sold the car in 1995 with roughly 16000 miles on it to Prestige Autohaus a small shop dealer for exotics. Then the third owner bought it as he was
\nlooking for a Ferrari 308 he is the one who i bought it from in 2002 he used the car to commute in to work but decided to sell it as he stopped driving it
\nmuch and it just set in his garage. Sorry i dont have any great pictures of the car now all i have are some scanned photos I have of the car as I dont have a
\ngood digital camera right now. Also a picture is posted of it by Gustav on the bmw m5 board site from his California trip last summer to the Concorso
\nItaliano it is mistakenly identified by him as a C2 2.7. Also pictures can be seen at Drivewerks.com in the pictures section under concorso italiano 2003 on page 3
