It wasn’t scheduled for it until ages after that, but I just wanted to start with everything done properly and at the same time for piece of mind so I did everything together at once.
\nSimon at RX Automotive in Brisbane did this – one of the best known and skilled Bmw mechanics I, and indeed many others Bmw enthusiasts use on an ongoing basis.
\nWhat was serviced and changed (only 2500 kilometers ago):
\n– Engine oil and filter
\n– Cam belt and tensioner
\n– Spark plugs
\n– Waterpump
\n– Thermostat
\n– Bmw Coolant
\n– Air filter
\n– Alternator belt
\n– Power steering belt
\n– Air con belt
\n– Diff oil
\n– Gearbox oil
\n– Brake and Clutch fluid
\nIt was also noted during this service that the rear diff bush was slightly worn so this was changed, along with a service on the big brake kit as well. Discs and pad thickness were noted to be perfect.
\nThe engine oil and filters were also changed only 35 kilometers ago (it had been 2500 k’s since it’s last change)
\nIt also comes with all the Bmw bit and pieces like the (working!) glovebox torch, full toolkit, toweye, warning triangle and unopened and sealed first aid kit.
\nA fifth Alpina alloy wheel is also the spare.
\nAs for a brief talk on the car:
\nNo wear present on the Recaro seats or interior.
\nNo cracks in the dash.
\nIt starts first time, every time with excellent oil pressure as shown on the Alpina digital readout.
\nPaint is in superb condition with absolutely no fade.
\nBodywork is excellent with no dents or scratches.
\nTyres still have 80% thread left on them.
\nRemote central locking with alarm with immobiliser.
\nFantastic 6 cylinder sound helped by the stainless Alpina exhaust.
\nPlenty of power available from it, with loads of torque for a comfortable, swift feel.
\nIt’s been an absolute pleasure to own and drive. It’s extremely rare, fantastic to drive and is guaranteed to give rewarding and memorable ownership. Only selling due to a change in personal circumstances.
\nAny questions or inspections are welcome and indeed encouraged.
\nRWC will be supplied on request,
\nCar is located in Brisbane, QLD.
\nOffers around $22,500,
\nPM or ring 0450573181<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Coupe Owner Matthew Deane of Didcot, Oxfordshire, England Acquaintance of Pete Thorpe for sale ebay.com 6\/2008: 157500km Complete Alpina spec, many features including 2.7L Engine, tubular exhaust manifold, Alpina Front and rear bucket seats, Alpina Build Identification Badge, Alpina digital engine temp and oil pressure gauges, Up-rated brakes, LSD, Alpina progressive rate suspension, Electric Windows, […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[53],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2570","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-e30-b3-27"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2570","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=2570"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2570\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=2570"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=2570"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.buchloe-archive.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=2570"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
