\nThis is number 88 of a total of 324 cars overall and only 90 coupes for this model variant.
\n5 speed Switchtronic automatic gearbox.
\n8Jx18″ front and 9Jx18″ rear wheels with Continental SportContact 3 225\/40R18 fronts and 255\/35R18 rear tyres and a genuine Alpina rim with a 225\/40R18 Michelin PS2 as a spare wheel.
\nThis is a very well specced example and certainly not typical of what you will find on the market.
\nExtended champagne heated, electric and memory sport leather interior (from the BMW Individual program) with centre armrest and black piping.
\nServiced with OE spec Castrol Edge 10W60 and is due an oil service in around 3000 miles according to the service indicator. Recently work includes new wishbones, bushes and droplinks each side for the MOT. I also had centre propshaft bearing replaced just before the MOT, too. The front bumper, spoiler and bonnet were recently resprayed (November 2011) due to stone chipping. I’ve also just changed the headlamp lenses as they were starting to look tired due to stone-chipping as well as changing both the outer and inner rear light units due to age cracking and water ingress. The gearbox was fully rebuilt to the tune of nearly \u00a32.5k in September 2010. The invoice is included in the history. Mechanically and electrically, there are no faults. It drives superbly and everything works as it should. Physically, there are two small spots of rust which have been treated with Kurust. One is on the back of the car under the tailgate (Common E46 rust point) and is about the size of a 5p piece. The other is on the driver door in the middle, right above the rubbing strip and is about the size of a 50p piece. Neither areas have broken paint. The driver seat bolster is worn in the usual manner along with part of the armrest. The wheels are original so would benefit from a refurb. Appreciably, there are a few cosmetic things that need doing which I’ve not gotten around to yet, but it’s one of the best specced B3’s out there – especially with the Individual interior.
\nThe bulk of the mileage by myself and previous owners is motorway use (I’ve done nearly 30k in the last 12 months) so it’s now about average in terms of it’s age.
