\nHi and welcome to the auction of one of my customers rare Alpina Touring.
\nApparently Alpina only converted 14 right hand drive E30 325i models and according to research by my customer only 6 of them are left in existence. The upgrade on the standard 325i is, uprated and lowered suspension, full engine modifications to 2.7 litres and around 200BHP, twin exhausts, uprated brakes, etc etc. The car features on board computer, aftermarket face off Sony stereo CD player, electric front windows, factory electric steel sunroof, electric mirrors, Alpina alloys, with standard lockable hub caps, rear load cover, genuine Alpina front spoiler, side skirts and Alpina striping. It also has standard headlamp wash wipe which of course doesn\u2019t work, did they ever from new? Anyway the car has been through our workshops and has had some work done. There has been some welding done to the front floor, jacking points and a couple of bits under the front wings. Numerous brake pipes have also been replaced. Both sides of the car and the bonnet have been painted mainly for scratches and stone chips, however the front spoiler was not painted having been a fairly recent replacement so this does have some slight crazing and some stone chips. We have also fitted the new accurate replica striping to the sides and as you can see in the picture, at the time the driver\u2019s side wasn\u2019t completed. The wheels have been paint stripped and repainted and they are running fairly new Toyo\u2019s all with very good depth of tread. As for the bits that need a little attention, you could include the headlamp wash wipe, but more importantly the driver\u2019s seat as pictured is showing signs of wear, the rear headlining over the load area is sagging as they do and the driver\u2019s door and door card has suffered from people closing the door and trapping the seat belt and that\u2019s about it. The car drives really well with no knocks rattles or bangs and of course is quite fast. It\u2019s a nice example but with the little bits of work done, it could be a really nice example. This is a rare car and just like all the E30\u2019s they are increasing in value, but with only 6 of these left, it should be a good investment. You are more than welcome to come and view the car and have a chat as the owner is realistic but won’t give it away. There isn\u2019t a buy it now price so please don\u2019t ask. I won\u2019t reveal the reserve either so again don\u2019t ask as it just wastes my time and yours !! Thanks for looking happy bidding and good luck.
